the twins

The piece "the twins" was inspired by the zodiac symbol Gemini. Gemini is depicted as two twins--Castor and Pullox. While Castor was the mortal son of the King of Sparta and Pollux was the son of Zeus, it was believed that they had been born from the same egg. When Castor died, Pullox asked Zeus for him to allow share his immortality. The two twins differ in origin of birth; yet, they are a reflection of themselves and their shared bond. Similarly to the Red&Blue pieces, this piece focuses on the shared dualities and differences through the metallic and golden faces on the same body.
